Editing the VCM

1. Open VCM Editor.
2. Choose File->Open from the main menu bar and select the VCM file you would like to edit.
3. From here the Main VCM Editor window will display the menu options available. There are two different styles available, the default one, which uses pull down style menus for quick and easy navigation, and the "navigator" view, which will produce a second small window with all of the available options.

4. Once you have decided upon which menu style you would like to use, you will need to set basic options. Choose your preferences, and close to save them.

5. To easily re-open files used most, there is an option under File->Recent Files in the menu bar.
6. You can also Click and Drag files right into the editor window to quickly change from one file to another.
7. To make notes on the current VCM file, choose Edit, Calibration Details. This will help you to keep better track of your vehicles files. After editing, there is also a change log that allows for a complete history of all changes made to the vehicles file.
