Scanning the Vehicle

The VCM Scanner in VCM Suite 2 is by far the best release to date. The ability to completely customize the gauges, charts, tables, and PIDs was a long time coming, and it is here.

To begin scanning the vehicle:
  1. Connect the data cable to the OBDII port.
  2. Start the vehicle.
  3. Open VCM Scanner.
  4. To begin scanning, hit the space bar or click the play icon.
  5. To stop scanning, hit the space bar or click the stop icon.
  6. Remember to save your data before re-starting the scanner or your data will be lost.
